Kit Holden-Ada is a interdisciplinary settler artist of Scottish/Irish/English descent. Born on the prairies, they took shape under the aspen and big skies of Treaty 2 territory (rural Manitoba) and now make mischief in Kjipuktuk, Mi'kma'ki/Halifax, NS.

Materially inquisitive, their work spans mediums from ceramics, fibre/leatherwork & metal-smithing to sound, writing, mark making & lens-based media installations.  Kit’s embodied and relationally responsive practice is oriented to collaboration and integrates curious explorations of identity, queer ecology, lineage, discipline and play, often in close alliance with the body and the elements.

They keep starting to learn the drums and have been tinkering at Fervour's Own Jewellery since 2011.

“It is a joy to be hidden, and a disaster not to be found.”
